I hear that quite a lot when I’m working and I really want to let people know how often this happens and how try to avoid it.

What I found is the best way to avoid this was to try not to wear washing up gloves when you are doing the washing up. The gloves put unnecessary pressure on the nails which causes them to break. When you are doing the washing up don’t wear gloves and when you are doing it, do it gently and with some care. Obviously you pampered ladies don’t want to be doing the washing up or to be getting bits of food caught underneath the nails, but it happens. One thing I would say to you if you are getting food stuck up there is use a pin or something else which you can pick out anything beneath with care , soak the hands in some warm water with a washing up solution and wash your hands in the water. This should free up even the deepest most stuck on grime and leave it easy for you to collect the rest of what is there on the pin.

False Nails News - 07-09-09

Another bit of news is about a nail technician course in Manchester called Acrylicnailtraining.co.uk which is by far one of the best training schools in Manchester who have just signed up for a free directory page on nailtechniciancourses.co.uk.

In life you get what you pay for depending on the material used for the nail extensions will usually depend on the price of the false nails but that’s not all that determines the price of the nails.

There are a few different types of nail extensions these types include acrylic, silk, fibre glass and UV gel; these are the main type of false nails available.

Now there are different types of procedures used to apply nail extensions, there is the technique used by the Vietnamese nail bars that uses the drill which has been know to harm the nails and also can hurt if not done with care.

Other techniques used are manually applied false nails that don’t damage the nails but may take slightly longer to apply.

Silk and fibre glass nail extensions are particularly practical as they may look brilliant but they are very delicate and as my girlfriend says ‘they are for ladies that lunch’ so they aren’t for everyone as they tend to be extremely fragile.

The most appropriate types of false nails are UV gel nail extensions and acrylic nail extensions without the use of the drill; these will last for long periods of time, look natural and not leave your nail damaged in any way.
