Hi my name is Destiny and I work in Essex doing mobile nail services and eyelash extensions too, today I met up with a regular client who’s nail extensions constantly break when she is doing the washing up. I hear that quite a lot when I’m working and I really want to let people know how often this happens and how try to avoid it.

What I found is the best way to avoid this was to try not to wear washing up gloves when you are doing the washing up. The gloves put unnecessary pressure on the nails which causes them to break. When you are doing the washing up don’t wear gloves and when you are doing it, do it gently and with some care. Obviously you pampered ladies don’t want to be doing the washing up or to be getting bits of food caught underneath the nails, but it happens. One thing I would say to you if you are getting food stuck up there is use a pin or something else which you can pick out anything beneath with care , soak the hands in some warm water with a washing up solution and wash your hands in the water. This should free up even the deepest most stuck on grime and leave it easy for you to collect the rest of what is there on the pin.

False nails are absolutely massive in the fashion industry and with females alike, but what are the best kinds of nail extensions to get?

A false nail come in different shapes, sizes, colours, style and designs not to mention materials, so what materials are good for you and your nails?

In life you get what you pay for depending on the material used for the nail extensions will usually depend on the price of the false nails but that’s not all that determines the price of the nails.

There are a few different types of nail extensions these types include acrylic, silk, fibre glass and UV gel; these are the main type of false nails available.
